Proginet Signs Software License Agreement with Major Financial Services Provider in the Middle East

November 03, 2009 -- GARDEN CITY, N.Y., BUSINESS WIRE --

Proginet Corporation [OTCBB: PRGF], developer of enterprise managed file transfer software, today announced a new software license agreement with one of the world's leading financial services providers, headquartered in the Middle East. This agreement was acquired via Attachmate, one of Proginet's OEM relationships. Under the terms of the agreement, the Client, who cannot be named for reasons of confidentiality, will use Proginet's managed file transfer solution to exchange data internally as well as with its external partners.

Proginet reports that the Client will use their managed file transfer solution to handle high-volume, confidential data transmissions with its external partners. The Client selected CFI following a comprehensive evaluation of major file-transfer vendors, with strong encryption, authentication, and automation identified as key criteria in their decision.

"We've been focusing more of our resources on our partnerships and OEMs, and closing this deal is further evidence that our efforts are paying off,' said Sandy Weil, Proginet's President and CEO. 'This was the first OEM deal closed by Attachmate and Proginet's first file transfer deal in the Middle East. Our partnerships are allowing us to access areas of the world that we were not able to previously,' continued Mr. Weil.
